Dad and I had a wonderful weekend in Arlington with Juan-Gabriel. We thought we'd see him here in Loraine for the DFR meeting, but with this second job he has, he doesn't have much time for anything else. He's off one day during the week, and that's when he tries to catch up with laundry, straightening up around the apartment, grading and posting grades.
We enjoyed the visit cause we didn't have anything planned, which was very relaxing.
J.G. had company over after lunch Saturday; Ian and Bree visited for awhile and we enjoyed them both. That little Bree is something else.
We got lazy after we had supper and were relaxing on the sofa's, when out of nowhere, J.G. insisted we get up. We put our jackets on, did a drive-by at Starbucks and headed down Dallas to see the lights. (this was about 10:30pm!).
We had a great time sight-seeing, the lights are fabulous.
We stayed out till after 12:30am. Which is not late, but for us old country folk it is.

About Me
- Juan & Cecilia
- We were high school sweethearts and we still have that connection we had years ago. God has blessed us with two wonderful children who are now grown adults living their own lives; our eldest lives in Abilene and our youngest resides in Arlington. Our personalities...in a nutshell...I think can be described as easy-going . Juan loves to joke and I love to laugh...so...it just works. I really don't think we have to go into much detail about what we're like because inevitably that will show with each and every post. We love that you're here and you are welcome to stop by any time to read about our stories...some funny and some...not so much; but all definately, from the heart.
