West Texas Rainbows

After two days of much needed rain, these are the rewards we can enjoy.

Easter Weekend

Had a fantastic Easter weekend at J.G.'s. Sure did wish Cindy and Paula could of joined in on the fun, but they weren't able to get a dog sitter for the weekend.

We left Thursday afternoon and had all day Friday and Saturday to do plenty of sight seeing and shopping. J.G. took us to up-town Dallas and stopped off at the Cupcakery. Boy! are their cupcakes delicious!

We attended Easter Vigil Mass Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed it. The choir was awesome! Like always, J.G. was the perfect host. Thank you, Mijo.

WISH I COULD QUIT MY DAY JOB!

I love it! Well, my birthday isn't until Feb.23., but Dad ordered this through Apple and was delivered a week early. Of course I wasn't going to wait for my birthday to open the box. I gave him one for Christmas this year and he is really enjoying it. The thing is, our taste in music is completely different, so I had to have my own.
Sure does beat having to load up a box full of CD's every time we get in the car.

Morning Coffee

So this is what I find every morning when I walk into the kitchen!
Since I can't move my joints in the morning, my darling husband leaves the coffee, cup, and sugar ready for me so I don't have to reach for anything.

Isn't that sweet? And after 38 years of marriage!
