This last Tuesday was my second visit to the arthritis doctor. I entered the office and was signing in and both the receptionist and nurse both said, (at the same time) "Oh, you allowed him to come back with you?"
"Yes," I said, but he did promise he'd be on his best behavior. So, I'm giving him a second chance."
On our way over there, I told him I'd let him go to Lowe's (which he could spend hours in there) and take him to Starbucks for a nice frozen treat, if he would act good, and try not to touch anything or for that matter, not even speak during my visit with the doctor.
GUESS WHAT? He did Great! Even the office ladies were proud of him.
Now I wonder why he couldn't of acted this well the first time around?
Oh well, that's past, so why dwell on it.
Who said you couldn't teach an Old Donkey new tricks?

About Me
- Juan & Cecilia
- We were high school sweethearts and we still have that connection we had years ago. God has blessed us with two wonderful children who are now grown adults living their own lives; our eldest lives in Abilene and our youngest resides in Arlington. Our personalities...in a nutshell...I think can be described as easy-going . Juan loves to joke and I love to laugh...so...it just works. I really don't think we have to go into much detail about what we're like because inevitably that will show with each and every post. We love that you're here and you are welcome to stop by any time to read about our stories...some funny and some...not so much; but all definately, from the heart.

Doesn't that proverbial expression say "...old dog new tricks"? Or did you just mean to call my dad an ass?
