Finally Got a Digital Camera!

That's right. Good ole John surprised me with a digital camera. I could of kept on using my Cannon camera, but I embarrassed J.G. at Nate's wedding. Yeah, I thought I had a full roll of film and of course I didn't. So, there goes my good old camera rewinding the film and making that very loud rewinding sound, which nearly made J.G. want to leave the reception.
If I remember correctly his words to me were: "Oh my gosh, Mom, please put that thing away, I can't believe you still have that camera". Oh, yeah. I love embarrassing my kids!

I hate parting with my old camera. It holds a lot of special memories. Just the fact that Dad bought it for me about 20 years ago when I had my hysterectomy! I guess he must of thought that if he bought me a camera, it would lessen the pain. You know Dad, always being thoughtful!

So, now I have a new camera and I can't seem to find what to take a picture of! Maybe, tonight since Dad started his night shift, I can actually take a good look at it, read up on the instructions, send in the warranty, and if I can figure out how to work it, maybe tomorrow I'll go out to the back yard and take a few pictures of Daddy's 30 goates and miniature donkey!
