Maruca emailed me this morning (Thurs.),
to tell me that her and Christopher and Nicholas
visited with Jr. and Anita yesterday.
Like I said, her brain never stops working.
'Para quando yo voy, Maruca ya biene!'
She asked Jr. to write something down so that
she could email it to us. She states she didn't want
to misquote him, so here it is:
'Today May 21st, Anthony received his last of five
radiation treatments. At 1:30pm, he started receiving
stem cells that were blessed by the hospital chaplain.
These stem cells were donated by Anthony's older
brother, Jeremiah. Jeremiah donated his stem cells during
a four hour process the day prior. The nurses and
chaplain wished Anthony a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, this
being his first day with his healthy cells. "Gracias A Dios"
Before leaving I asked Anthony what he wanted me to
tell everybody,- - - he said to tell everybody hi and
thank you for the prayers. AMEN BRO'
THANK YOU SO MUCH, MARUCA.

About Me
- Juan & Cecilia
- We were high school sweethearts and we still have that connection we had years ago. God has blessed us with two wonderful children who are now grown adults living their own lives; our eldest lives in Abilene and our youngest resides in Arlington. Our personalities...in a nutshell...I think can be described as easy-going . Juan loves to joke and I love to laugh...so...it just works. I really don't think we have to go into much detail about what we're like because inevitably that will show with each and every post. We love that you're here and you are welcome to stop by any time to read about our stories...some funny and some...not so much; but all definately, from the heart.
