Yeah. That's right. Mr. Monk dissapointed me.
The church was soooo packed. I didn't even get close
enough to see what color eyes he had.
I thought he'd be dressed in a monk suit. You know
black hood, black vestment, etc.. But no. He wore
a baret and regular clothes, trimed little beard,
completely opposite of what I was expecting.
Although his lecture was mainly to all the youth of the
parish. He blessed and prayed over each one
individually, so by the time he finished with them,
he still had to prayed over the rest of the two hundred
other people. I was there almost 3 hours and started
hurting real bad, so I had to leave. I was so bad, one
of Dads cousins had to help me to the car. Once I
got in the car, I sat there and cried for awhile, took
my medication and managed to get myself home.
As far as the jerky. Hell, by that time, I didn't even
care if raw rabbit is all he lives on !!!!!!!!!
I did find out something very interesting and unusual.
They have to live in a monastary for a certain length
of time before they become hermits!!!!!! Weird, Huh?

About Me
- Juan & Cecilia
- We were high school sweethearts and we still have that connection we had years ago. God has blessed us with two wonderful children who are now grown adults living their own lives; our eldest lives in Abilene and our youngest resides in Arlington. Our personalities...in a nutshell...I think can be described as easy-going . Juan loves to joke and I love to laugh...so...it just works. I really don't think we have to go into much detail about what we're like because inevitably that will show with each and every post. We love that you're here and you are welcome to stop by any time to read about our stories...some funny and some...not so much; but all definately, from the heart.
